Vegas Now Privacy Policy
Vegas Now Privacy Policy explains what data we collect from visitors and account holders on vegasnowbonus.net, why we collect it, how we store it and the rights you have over your information under Australian privacy law.
Who we are
Vegas Now is an online casino and sportsbook operated for Australian players. We act as the data controller for all personal information gathered through vegasnowbonus.net and through any player account opened with us. Everything in this policy applies to information collected from visitors and registered members based in Australia.
We take our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) seriously. If anything in this policy raises a question for you, reach out to our privacy team directly at support@vegasnowbonus.net and we will do our best to help.
What we collect
Every time you land on the site, our web servers and analytics tools automatically capture technical data, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the specific pages you view, the duration of each visit, and the URL that referred you here. This routine technical collection is standard practice across the web and helps us keep the site running smoothly.
When you create a player account, we ask for the information necessary to operate it lawfully and securely. That includes your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email address, phone number, preferred payment method details, and identity verification documents required under our licence conditions and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). Providing accurate information is a condition of holding an account.
We also build a record of how you use the site once you are logged in. That record covers deposits made, withdrawals requested, individual bets placed, casino games launched, bonus promotions opted into, and any responsible gambling tools you activate, including deposit limits, session time limits, cooling-off periods or a full self-exclusion.
Where you contact our support team, we retain the content of those communications, including live chat transcripts, emails and any attachments you send. This helps us resolve disputes accurately and improve service quality over time.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar client-side storage mechanisms to keep the site functioning, to maintain your signed-in session between page loads, to remember the consent choices you have already made, and to measure traffic patterns through our analytics platform. Our Cookie Policy provides a full breakdown of every cookie we set, who sets it, and how long it persists on your device.
On your first visit, a consent banner gives you the option to accept or decline non-essential analytics and marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies that keep the site operational cannot be switched off through this banner. You can revisit your preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Changes take effect immediately across all subsequent page loads.
How we use your data
Account information is used to open and administer your account, process every deposit and withdrawal request, settle winning bets, deliver bonus promotions to eligible players, fulfil our know-your-customer obligations under Australian anti-money-laundering law, and respond to any regulatory requests directed to us.
Technical and behavioural data is used to keep the site secure, to detect and prevent fraud or bonus abuse, to diagnose technical faults, and to measure overall traffic. When we use this data for analytics, we aggregate and anonymise it so that no individual player profile is created for that purpose.
Where you have opted in to marketing communications, we use your email address and broad engagement history to send you offers and updates that are relevant to the kind of gaming you enjoy. You can change your marketing preferences at any time from within your account or by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
We do not use automated decision-making in ways that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you without providing a pathway for human review. If you believe an automated process has affected your account unfairly, contact our support team.
How we share your data
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, full stop. We do share limited data with carefully chosen service providers who help us deliver the platform. Those providers include payment processors who handle your deposit and withdrawal transactions, identity verification firms who perform document checks on our behalf, game studios whose software runs inside our casino lobby, our cloud hosting provider, our analytics platform and our transactional email service.
Each provider we use is subject to a data processing agreement, and we have reviewed their privacy practices to confirm they meet recognised standards, including alignment with the APPs where applicable. Providers based outside Australia are assessed to ensure they offer a level of protection broadly comparable to what Australian law requires.
We may also disclose your data where required by an Australian law, by a court order, or by a regulator with lawful authority to request it. We will not voluntarily share your data with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Our platform infrastructure is distributed across data centre regions that may include Australia, Singapore, the European Union and the United States. We choose providers that hold recognised security certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 Type II. Where data is processed or stored outside Australia, we take contractual steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, consistent with our obligations under APP 8.
Your identity and KYC documents are held on a segregated, access-controlled storage layer that is physically and logically separated from our public-facing services. Only staff with a direct operational need can access this layer.
How long we keep your data
Raw server logs are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Aggregated analytics data, from which individual identities have been removed, may be retained for up to 26 months for trend analysis. Account and transaction records are kept for a minimum of seven years following account closure, in line with obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and related record-keeping rules. When the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights under Australian privacy law
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have a range of rights in relation to your personal information. You may ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you, to give you access to that information in a readily usable format, and to correct any details that are inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete or misleading. To make an access or correction request, email support@vegasnowbonus.net with sufficient detail to help us identify the relevant records. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where possible.
In certain circumstances, you may also ask us to delete your personal information where we are not required to retain it for regulatory or contractual reasons. Note that transaction records and identity documents linked to a closed account must be kept for the statutory period described above and cannot be deleted early.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au. We encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to address the issue directly before it is escalated.
Children
This site is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. Age verification is conducted as part of the account opening process and may be repeated if we have any reason to question a player's age. If you become aware that a minor has submitted personal data through our site or successfully opened an account, contact us at support@vegasnowbonus.net immediately. We will close the account, refund any balance where possible, and delete the associated personal data.
Security measures we use
All data exchanged between your browser and our servers is protected by TLS 1.2 or higher, ensuring that your personal and financial information cannot be intercepted in transit. Account passwords are stored using a strong, salted one-way hash function, which means we cannot reverse-engineer them even if we wanted to, and a successful database breach would not expose readable passwords.
We implement role-based access controls, so staff members can only access the data they need to perform their specific duties. Privileged access to production systems is logged and reviewed. We conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and periodic penetration testing, to identify and address weaknesses before they can be exploited.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any affected individual, we will notify the OAIC and the affected individuals as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme administered under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Marketing communications
We only send promotional and marketing emails to players who have given us explicit consent to do so. Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also opt out entirely via the communication preferences screen inside your account, and we will honour that request within five business days. If you have self-excluded or closed your account, all marketing communications stop as soon as that action is processed.
We do not pass your name, email address, phone number or any identifiable information to third-party advertising networks for their own marketing campaigns. If we run campaigns through digital advertising platforms, we supply only anonymised audience segments, never individual player records.
Updates to this policy and how to contact us
We review and update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in how we operate the site, changes in the services we use, and changes in Australian privacy law. The current version is always displayed here, with the date it was last updated shown at the top of the page. Where a change is material, we will draw it to your attention through the cookie consent banner on your next visit. For any privacy question, reach us at support@vegasnowbonus.net or visit our Contact page for the full range of ways to get in touch.
