Where your data is stored

Our infrastructure uses data centres that may be located across multiple regions including within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions with adequacy decisions recognised by the European Commission under Article 45 GDPR. We only use providers that meet the data protection standards required under European and Irish law and we carry out due diligence on each provider before engaging them.

Where data is transferred outside the EEA to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as the appropriate safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR.

How long we keep your data

Web server logs are kept for 90 days. Anonymised and aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Account records, transaction histories and identity documents are kept for the period required by our licence conditions and applicable Irish and EU legislation, which is typically a minimum of five years after the account closes. Under Irish anti-money-laundering law, certain transaction records must be retained for a minimum of five years from the date of the transaction.

Your rights under GDPR

As a person in Ireland, you benefit from a comprehensive set of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond in full within one calendar month, which is the deadline set by GDPR Article 12. We do not charge a fee for straightforward requests. For complex or repetitive requests we may extend the response period by a further two months after notifying you of the extension and the reason for it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a privacy matter and our response does not satisfy you, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission, which is the Irish supervisory authority for GDPR. You also have the right to an effective judicial remedy in the Irish courts if you believe your rights have been infringed.

Children

Vegas Now is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect or store data relating to anyone under 18. If you have reason to believe that a minor has registered an account or submitted personal information through this site, please contact us immediately at support@vegasnowbonus.net. We will close the account and delete the associated personal data without delay, retaining only what we are legally required to keep under our licence obligations.

Security measures

All data in transit between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Account passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes and are never visible to our staff in plain text. Identity documents and KYC images are held on a segregated, access-controlled storage layer that is isolated from all public-facing parts of the site.

We monitor for unusual login patterns, including logins from unfamiliar devices or locations, and apply additional verification challenges when suspicious access is detected. If we ever identify a breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours as required by Article 33 GDPR, and we will notify you directly where there is a high risk to you personally under Article 34.

Marketing communications

Every marketing email contains a clear one-click unsubscribe link, and you can switch off marketing at any time through the communications screen inside your account or by replying to any marketing email with the word unsubscribe. Closing your account or activating self-exclusion will stop all marketing emails within five business days.
